RULES

  1. The Agility Club Annual Awards will run from 1st January through to 31st December. The awards are open to all members of the agility club; points can only be counted from the date of membership. At the end of each Annual Awards year the final top two in each individual category are invited to receive a trophy at the conclusion of the Agility Club Annual General Meeting, where two dogs have an equal number of points the number of wins will be used to determine which takes the higher place, followed (if necessary) by the number of 2nds, 3rds, etc.
  2. Points can only be claimed for places that are awarded. If the show only awards places to 5th, for example, then only places down to 5th can be claimed for.
  3. Only 'standard' classes at a KC licensed Open show or KC licensed Limited show can be counted. i.e. only progression classes qualify for points within the agility club league. Championship Jumping and Agility qualifying rounds may be claimed for but not the Final. Points from junior handler classes may be claimed for dogs entered in either of the Junior Under/Over 12 categories.
  4. In all categories, points are for one dog only, i.e. points for more than one dog are not added together. Where two dogs have an equal number of points the number of wins will be used to determine which takes the higher place, followed (if necessary) by the number of 2nds, 3rds, etc.
  5. Within the points 'year' a dog can only be entered in ONE category under one owner/handler, and its points allocated to ONE club (which may not be changed during the year). Except that if your dog doesn?t have a club entered then one may be added at any point during the year.
  6. Claims must contain the class number, agility or jumping, combined or graded, grades included.
  7. Results must be received by the Points Secretary within ONE MONTH (based on the last day for shows more than 1 day long). The final results at the end of the Annual Awards year must be received no later than the 7th January of the following year.
  8. At the end of the year the top 3 clubs in each division will be promoted, and the bottom 3 relegated. Any other clubs with 0 points will also be relegated and the corresponding number promoted from the division below.
  9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the agility club committee is final.
