Champ Course Training

Sunday 2nd April 2017

 

 

 

Simon Chandler will be your instructor for the day.

 

Come and walk the course, run the course then break it down.  Find different lines for you and your dog, then run it again to see how you have improved and how much you have saved on your course time.

 

There will be two sessions; limited to 10 handlers in each session. The course is aimed at handlers who have, or are running dogs at grades 5, 6 & 7.

 

Session one - 09.30am-12.30pm

 

Session two - 13.00pm-16.00pm

 

Handler spaces £35.00, discounted to £30.00 for members of the agility club.

 

Spectator spaces £10.00, discounted to £5.00 for members of the agility club.

 

Spectator spaces are aimed at all grades, you can learn a lot from watching the different course lines being worked and the time benefits that follow.

 

Light refreshments are included

 

The venue Whirlwind Agility – next to Gerrards Cross Road off B416 (next to Stoke Common), Stoke Poges, SL2 4EL 

 

The venue has good quality equipment with rubber contacts, toilet facilities on site, parking and wooded areas to exercise your dog.  It is an outdoor venue so please dress appropriately.

 

Image may contain: 1 person, grass and outdoorSimon has been competing in Agility since 1995 and approved as a championship judge by the kennel club in 2007.  He has judged many championship classes, and the Olympia semi-finals in 2010.  He is judging Small Champ this year at the KCAI Festival.  He has competed with his dogs at this level.  Simon has been confirmed to judge YKC at Crufts 2018 and Olympia 2019.
