Hi there. I am Theresa, aged 42. Max
and I originally joined agility to give him
some basic obedience skills as i
couldn
t find a basic pet training class
on a Saturday as I worked evenings.
That was 3 years ago and now Max and
i are avid fans of agility. I never thought
for one moment we would end up
competing at shows. We certainly have
the bug. I started to go to one day
shows and it was great fun. Now i have
a little camper and go for weekends.
My first shows were at UKA . I have
just come back from my first Kennel
Club show at Thames. It was a great
day . The courses were very good and
it was very well organised.
We are only a Grade one. I am sure if
Max had a better co-ordinated handler
he would be a Grade 7 by now, but he
is patiently waiting for me to catch up to
his level. He is a super little dog and
his favourite piece of equipment is the
dog walk.
We train with Tig Stephenson at
Ridinghood Agility Club in Iver. She is a
brill trainer and I wouldn
t be where I
am today without her time and
patience. Max and i love agility and
can
t wait for our next show . It
s got to
be one of the best sports you can do
with your pet as you work as team and
build a brilliant bond with your best
pal. I see all ages around the shows
from youngsters upwards. What better
way to spend a weekend in the fresh air
meeting like-minded people, having
fun and if you
re lucky, coming hope
with a rosette or two.
WELCOME TO OUR CLUB!
